Introduction
In light of preserving healthy traditions in your chapter and allowing you the flexibility to implement Associate Member Officer Elections according to your history, we have provided the following to you as RECOMMENDATIONS for the logistics of the program. Furthermore, if your chapter does not currently have an approved Membership Orientation Program that includes Associate Member Officer Election procedure you should implement the recommended programs. We believe that these recommendations fit with the mission of the Fraternity and will add to the quality of experience your Associate Members’ will have.
Associate Member Officer Elections
- Elections will be announced during the first meeting.
- Elections are held during the Week #2 Meeting.
- The following officers should be elected: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Brotherhood Chair.
- The Chapter President will conduct elections according to the Chapter by-laws during the Week #2 Meeting.
- The AM Officers will take the lead on planning any AM functions.
- The AM Officers will have any functions approved by the MOO.
- The AM Officers should meet at least 3 times during their AM period.
