Dwight I Douglass

Dwight Ireneus Douglass Miami University 1906 was one of four founders of Phi Kappa Tau. A native of Colfax, Illinois, Douglass transferred to Miami from Ohio Wesleyan University in his junior year. He attended graduate school in mining engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. He served in France during WWI and was gassed. In later years, he worked for the Veterans Administration and was a short story writer. He died in 1940 and is buried in Hammond, Louisiana.
